WE SHOULD GIVE FROM THE TOP, THE FIRST OF THE FIRST; NOT FROM OUR LEFTOVERS.
Proverbs 3:9 “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.“
“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
(Luke 6:38)

Minister Victo Magaiga Iraaya of Nairobi Kenya, distributing food and clothes to one of the orphanages we support in the slum area of Nairobi City, in Kenya. The items ( mainly food and clothing and personal hygiene products for young girls and boys) were bought by the seed you sowed and the Joseph Kalema ministry sends occasionally to support these children. This time these were mostly Christmas gifts, December 2021. Thank you partners for your giving. Your seed travels miles away and takes your love to these orphans in Kenya, Africa.
Proverbs 3:27 ESV Bible.
“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.”
When we apply this to our finances and the Kingdom of God, here as well, our motivation counts. We can assume the attitude of the investor, merely “investing” money, expecting a financial return on our investment (“giving to get”). That’s one approach. But the other approach, much more fruitful, is to realize that we are sowing on behalf of, and in the Name of, Another — the very One Who, in fact, owns everything we have. We are given the opportunity to become His Hand of Blessing, carrying out His Will on earth as it is carried out in Heaven. Thus, we are building with Our Heavenly Father, uniting our giving to His Giving, flowing out of His never-ending Abundance. It is in this Spirit that we invite you to sow into this work of God. Your return is to see growth of His Kingdom in this Work, and in your own soul as well!

WE SHOULD GIVE CHEERFULLY.
2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
When we apply this to our finances and the Kingdom of God, here as well, our motivation counts.
(Luke 6:38) These precious words of Jesus can be applied universally, touching almost every aspect of daily life. They speak of the act of using our resources in the hope/expectation of obtaining a certain beneficial outcome. They teach us that our motivations count, and actions we perform out of those motivations have consequences, for good or ill. The Bible is full of examples that illustrate this truth.
